TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/11/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 42 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Unit: ED Active LA/Comp License for submission.

Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHS, PALS, CPI or MOAB either accepted.

Experience Required: 2 years of recent ED experience. Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival (includes MedSurg RN) -IV starts, multitasking for multiple systems, continuous patient monitoring, ability to identify severity of patient and anticipate care for those patients RN: 1:3 Patient Types: oAges: Newborn – Geriatric oAll ED patients – to include but not limited to: ▪MS patients – Respiratory Distress, Diabetics, GI bleeds, COPD, general MS ▪Stroke/NIHSS – Ischemic and Hemorrhagic ▪Some Cardiac – CHF, STEMI, dysrhythmias ▪Minor traumas – MVAs, Falls, etc ▪Psych/Mental Health/IVDA/ETOH Floating: No floating to other units.
