Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg - Neuro General Information We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neuro Med/Surg unit. The unit provides high-quality care to patients with neurological conditions.

Unit Specifics Number of Beds: 20 Patient Ratios: 6:1 Staffing: Tech support available on both day and night shifts; unit secretary from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Equipment: Equipped with IV Pumps, Telemetry, SCDs, Continuous Pulse Oximetry Machines, Feeding Pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanner, and iMobile communication technology.

Documentation System: Meditech Scheduling Requirements: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week; includes 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule.

Floating Policy: Contract labor is the first to float; rotation for multiple contract labor staff scheduled. Patient Experience The ideal candidate will deliver attentive and compassionate care to patients and their family members. This includes providing bedside shift reports, making personal connections, and involving both patients and their families in the care plan.

Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set: Experience in Med/Surg nursing, ability to prioritize care, multitasking, starting IVs, basic wound care, maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.

Must Have: Active RN license and BLS certification.

Advanced Skills Needed: N/A Certifications Required: BLS Dress Code Required uniform: Navy scrubs, tops and bottoms.
