Staffing by Shift: Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 2-3 medics, increasing by 4-5 RNs at 11 AM and by 1-2 RNs at 3 PM Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 2-3 medics Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per RN Type of Equipment: EMR - Meditech Qualifications Required Skill Set: Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments Must have 2-3 years of Emergency Room experience Preferred Skills: Experience in high acuity emergency rooms with fast-paced environments Familiarity with patient ratios of 5:1 Typical Procedures Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI) Sepsis interventions Stroke protocol including tPA administration Central line placement Care of psychiatric patients Transfers to other facilities in compliance with EMTALA Personality Fit Ideal candidates should be relaxed, easy-going, friendly, team-oriented, and respectful. Required Certifications BLS ACLS PALS TNCC (Preferred) ENPC (Preferred) NRP (Preferred) NIH (Preferred)
