Specialty: L&D / Healthcare - Nursing-RN Compensation & Schedule Details Hours & Shift: Night shift (36 hours per week, 1900–0700). Alternating weekend requirement with no-call requirements.
Contract Length: 13 weeks (Target Start Date: June 8, 2026). Regular pay rate: $95.00/hr. Key Facility Policies & Unit Scope Unit Overview: 8-bed OBED unit on the 4th floor. Staffing model per shift includes 1 charge nurse and 2–3 RNs. Patient ratios are typically 1:3 . Procedures performed include SVDs, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLACs.
Charting & Equipment: Charting via Meditech/CPN. Equipment includes Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and US.
Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required (solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts permitted; t-shirts prohibited).
Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required (Level IV / high-volume unit experience and previous HCA employment preferred).
Clinical Skills: Sterile Vaginal Examination (SVE) competency, C-section circulation, and internal monitor placement competency.
Licensure: Active Texas (TX) RN license or multi-state compact RN license in hand.
Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and intermediate fetal monitoring / EFM competency required at submittal.
