Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN | Travel | Neuro MedSurg Acute, IL Assignment Overview We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Travel assignment in a Neuro MedSurg Acute care setting. Ideal candidates will have experience in level 1 trauma and previous travel experience. This high-acuity unit requires expertise in stroke, spine surgery, and other neuroscience conditions.

Assignment Details Start Date: 8/4/2025 Shift: 12-hour nights Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, includes Saturday and Sunday Floating: Required with competencies; support provided Charting System: EPIC Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)

Number of Beds: 54 (2 semi-private)

Nurse-Patient Ratios: Day 1:4-5, Night 1:5-6 Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care in a Neuro MedSurg setting Manage stroke, spine surgery, brain tumor, and related cases Titrate drips, including heparin based on PTT Collaborate with a 24/7 charge nurse and house supervisor Qualifications Required: Active IL license or application in progress BLS, NIHSS certifications Level 1 trauma and previous travel experience Experience on a dedicated neuro unit Heparin drip management experience Job Type Travel PEL/VIP Job ID 64457858.
