Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN - MedSurg/Tele | Location Not Provided Assignment Overview We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the MedSurg/Tele unit. This role involves working in a Level 1 Trauma Teaching Hospital with a robust team to care for patients with various medical-surgical needs. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills and experience in a fast-paced environment.

Assignment Details Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7A-7P or 7P-7A Weekend Rotation: 5-6 weekend shifts out of 12 (on a 6-week schedule)

Holiday Expectations: Work one shift of each major holiday Floating: All adult med-surg/telemetry units in house Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2250 (negotiable)

Charting System: EPIC Census: 35 Responsibilities Provide care to patients with orthopedic, trauma, and chronic diseases Perform trach care, chest tube management, and PIV starts Conduct glucommander, insulin drips, and heparin drips Engage in care coordination with interdisciplinary teams Facilitate discharge planning and patient education Qualifications Required: BLS certification 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience EKG competency Strong med-surg nursing skills for Level 1 Trauma Hospital Preferred: ACLS certification National certification in Medical-surgical or Nephrology nursing Job Type Travel Benefits Orientation: 1 day orientation with educational modules, 2 days departmental Support from CNAs, unit secretary, charge nurse, and resource team RT, Hospitalist, and Intensivist available 24/7 Free parking or paid parking deck options PEL/VIP Job ID 64190338.
