Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 15 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN (Registered Nurse) | RN-Medsu | | Assignment Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Adult Medical Speciality Unit. In this acute care setting, the ideal candidate will have experience handling a variety of patient conditions such as cellulitis, sepsis, and acute respiratory failure. The role primarily involves working with central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes.

Assignment Details Facility Type: Acute Location: Shift Details: 12-hour Nights, 3x12 shifts Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday for days, Friday/Saturday for nights) Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)

Charting System: EPIC Responsibilities Provide care for patients with acute medical conditions Work with central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes Administer and manage Heparin and Lasix drips Collaborate with charge RN, PCTs, and other staff for optimal patient care Utilize various RT equipment including Bipap and Cpap Qualifications Required: Active IL license or confirmation of application BLS certification Experience with central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes Must pass a negative drug screen Ability to work every other weekend Preferred: Experience with EPIC charting system Previous travel experience on a MedSurg floor Experience in a Level I trauma center Job Type Permanent Benefits Orientation provided Professional development opportunities PEL/VIP Job ID 65193302.
