Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Behavioral Health Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/11/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position Details Inpatient Adult Psych RN Needed EKG exam is not required Must have at least 1 year of exp 2 years exp preferred BLS required, CPI preferred (Must have within 90 days of starting) 12 HR Days - 7a-7p Every third weekend, every other holiday Unit Specific Details 21 Bed Unit 4-5 days is the average length of stay Ratios - 1:5 on average could go up to 1:6 ratio* Patient population - Major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, acute psychosis Patient Ages 18 No acute medical or detox- that will handled on the medical side until they are stable 3-4 RN's on staff per night shift 1 night shift tech support- 3 nights a week *All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility. Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit typically attempts to achieve with normalized staffing.
