Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, specifically in a Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). This position requires both day and night shifts, with floating among various medical/surgical units as needed. Job Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in a 20-bed MICU. Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately to emergencies. Perform telemetry as required and interpret telemetry strips effectively. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including attendings and residents who are present 24/7. Document patient care and progress using the EPIC electronic medical record system. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in patient care.

Qualifications Active Massachusetts RN License required. Two or more years of continuous MICU experience preferred. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. Ability to read telemetry strips is essential.

Experience in a Level III Trauma Center is a plus.

Additional Information Floating to medical/surgical units is required; patient assignments may vary. RN to patient ratio may vary between 1:2 or 1:1 with high acuity and 1:4 or 1:5 when floated. Free on-site parking is available for staff.
