Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Department Med/Surg In-Patient Unit - 5E Position Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care within the Med/Surg In-Patient Unit. This position involves working 36 hours per week, consisting of three 12-hour shifts during the night (7:15 PM - 7:15 AM), with rotating weekends and holidays. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Monitor and record patient vital signs and symptoms. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management. Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations and maintain a clean and safe environment. Participate in the admission, discharge, and transfer of patients, ensuring continuity of care.

Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. BLS certification is required.

Experience in Med/Surg clinical settings is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
