Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Position Overview We are actively seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic team. This role provides essential healthcare services in a Full-Service Emergency Department, ensuring quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform patient assessments and deliver appropriate care in the Emergency Department. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including blood product administration. Start intravenous (IV) lines and ensure proper monitoring of patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for patients. Provide care for both adult and pediatric patients, aligning with Level II Trauma Center protocols. Maintain accurate medical records using Cerner charting system.

Position Details Ratios: 1:4 Years of Experience Required: 2 Years in Emergency Nursing Weekend Requirements: Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period, subject to department needs.

Shift: Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Qualifications Current Nursing License in New Mexico (may be pending at time of submission).

Must possess the following certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC. Two years of emergency room experience required. Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs is not required. Additional Requirements COVID vaccination is mandatory; exemptions for religious and medical reasons are accepted with proper documentation. No local candidates will be considered within a 100-mile radius. Requests for time off greater than 7 days need prior approval. Unit Details This position is within a Full-Service Emergency Department, which includes combined adult and pediatric care. Please note that there are no inpatient pediatric services, obstetrics, or catheterization lab available on-site.
