Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks Join a leading healthcare facility as an ER Registered Nurse in Overland Park, KS. This contract position in the Emergency Department (ER) offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 in the Emergency Room. Provide care for both adult and pediatric patients in a general emergency department setting. Manage cardiac monitoring and respond to emergencies, including dysrhythmias and multi-system organ dysfunction/failure. Administer IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central line care/management. Deliver continuous IV sedation and manage IV vasopressors. Utilize respiratory support techniques, including CPAP/BiPAP and care for ventilated patients. Perform isolation precautions and triage as necessary.

Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required.

Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.

Preferred certifications: CPI and MAB. Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs. No on-call requirement. Local candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility. Must be able to commit to 8 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule period.
