This contract position in the Emergency Department (ER) offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care to patients in need. Job Details: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years Experience Minimum Traveler Experience: Unit WILL Accept 1st time Travelers Locals Accepted: Yes, with Rate Difference Skills Required: IV Start, Triage, and Telemetry Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, MOAB Patient Ratios: 1:3-5, 250 Visits/Day, 101 Beds Float Requirement: Floating is required between Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health, depending on the greatest need Weekend Requirement: Minimum of 4 weekend days per 6-week time track; could be as much as every other weekend Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR, Daily shift huddles Patient Population: Regional referral and tertiary care center serving all populations Unit Orientation: 24 Hours Scrubs: Navy/White RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. Please note that there is NO BLOCK SCHEDULING . Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.
