This role focuses on providing exceptional care to post-surgical patients, including those undergoing orthopedic and general surgery, while also addressing neuro populations. Your expertise in nursing will be vital in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. Provide routine and complex care, addressing the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided. Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and their families.

Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: BLS certification via AHA required; RN License in the state of employment or compact.

Work Schedule: 7PM - 7AM, Full Time. Weekend scheduling based on need, with potential weekend requirements.

Nurse/Patient Ratio: 5:1-6:1 depending on staffing. EPIC experience is a bonus, and there is a possibility for temp-to-perm placement. Overtime is not billable until after 48 hours.
