Start Date: 11/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PCU Registered Nurse in Bristol, TN. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down. We are committed to providing exceptional care and supporting our nursing staff with a robust orientation program.

Key responsibilities include: Providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU. Participating in nursing student support and clinical education. Actively engaging in patient assessments and care planning. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements for this position include: 2 years of experience in a nursing role. BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications. Previous Charge Experience preferred. First-time travelers accepted. All travelers must live 100 miles from the facility.

Additional information: 36/36, 36/48, or 48/48 schedules are available. Every other weekend and rotating holidays required. No on-call duties. Floating to other units is not required. General orientation begins on Sundays, with online CBLs. 16 hours of non-billable orientation included. The hospital can cancel one shift biweekly without a financial penalty if there is a decrease in census. Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment will be flexed as needed.
