Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 14 weeks Number of Openings: Not specified Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Critical Care Float Registered Nurse in Cartersville, GA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic float pool, providing essential care across various units, including the Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in critical care nursing, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Unit Details: As a float pool staff member, you will be expected to adapt to different departments within the hospital, with ratios up to 1:6 in Med-Surg. This position requires flexibility, as candidates must be willing to float to various units as needed. Please note that block schedule requests are not accepted.

Weekend and Holiday Requirements: You will be expected to work every other weekend. If one major holiday falls within your assignment period, you will be required to work it. For two major holidays, you will need to work both, and for three, you will be expected to work two. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.

Compliance: Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant, there may be a pushback of 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Locals are accepted at the same rate. Please note that the number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by the contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment; 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).
