Setting: Emergency Department Oncology Pod Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Type: Travel nursing assignment Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Weekly Hours: 36 hours Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 11/2/2026 Orientation: 76 hours Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 - $1,930 Patient Ratio: 1:4 Charting System: Epic Work Environment: High-acuity emergency care with oncology-focused patient needs Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required At least 1 year of travel nurse experience required Current acute care experience within the last 12 months in the specialty Epic charting experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS Experience with IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and emergency medication administration Ability to manage ventilated patients, central line care, dysrhythmias, ABGs, triage, stroke care, and IV vasopressors Associate degree or higher from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program Two professional references required, including at least one manager, director, or formal supervisor Responsibilities Deliver safe, timely, and compassionate care to emergency patients with complex oncology-related needs Perform triage, assess patient acuity, and prioritize care in a fast-moving emergency department environment Start and maintain IV access, administer medications, and support blood product administration Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition Provide care for patients requiring oxygen support, BiPAP/CPAP, and ventilator management Assist with stroke evaluations, STEMI care, and other high-acuity emergency nursing interventions Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary clinical team to support efficient, high-quality patient care Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold strong clinical and compliance standards Apply now for this ER Registered Nurse travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio and join a strong emergency care team today.
