Travel Nursing Job Details Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nursing Position: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)

Location: Springfield, Massachusetts Start Date: October 26, 2026 End Date: January 24, 2027 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts, approximately 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Additional Scheduling: A 48-hour work week may be accommodated based on staffing needs Weekend and Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and alternating holidays Expected Patient Ratios: Typically 1:5 to 1:6, with occasional 1:7 assignments Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,310–$2,440 Travel RN Job Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts At least 2 years of recent medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association Current ACLS certification Ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment Cerner electronic medical record experience preferred Ability to work required weekends and alternating holidays Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients Float among medical-surgical telemetry units according to patient-care and staffing needs Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, laboratory results, and changes in patient condition Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Complete patient assessments, care plans, clinical documentation, and patient education Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate individualized patient care Recognize and respond promptly to clinical deterioration and emergent patient needs Support safe transitions of care, discharge planning, and continuity of treatment Apply now for this Travel RN opportunity and join a medical-surgical telemetry team in Springfield, Massachusetts.
