Unit Highlights: The SICU at the facility is known for its commitment to excellence in patient care and offers a supportive environment for healthcare professionals. As an RN in this unit, you will be responsible for providing critical care to patients with complex medical needs.

Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the SICU. Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Requirements: Active TX RN License (TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED) Minimum 2-3 years of ICU experience ACLS and BLS certification NIH Stroke Certification Strong critical thinking skills Preferred Skills: MICU & MSICU background IABP and CRRT exposure Experience with Meditech documentation system Dress Code: Scrub Color: Navy scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket Nail Policy: Clean and healthy Hair: Neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited GLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
