Start Date: 12/04/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down in Fort Myers, FL. This is a contract position with a focus on delivering high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care in a 36-bed cardiac medical unit with patient ratios of 4 to 5:1. Utilize your 2 years of PCU experience and cardiac expertise to manage patient care effectively. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to best practices. Document patient information accurately using EMR systems, specifically Epic. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements: 2 years of PCU experience required. Cardiac experience is essential. Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Degree accreditation or 5 years of relevant experience required. Willingness to float to other units or sister campuses as needed.
