Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This position involves working night shifts with a schedule from 18:30 to 07:00. The role requires participation in weekend rotations and coverage for every other holiday. Standby call may be necessary as needed.

Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the med/surg and PCU units. Occasionally care for ICU patients as needed. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Monitor and assess patients' conditions, responding promptly to changes in status. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in med/surg and PCU required. If a first-time traveler, a minimum of 3 years of experience in a hybrid unit is required. Current RN license is required.

BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is required. Must pass a telemetry exam prior to the start of the assignment.

Shift & Schedule Night shift: 3x12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Weekend rotation included, with the potential for a 4x12 schedule if more weekends are worked.
