Start Date: 12/07/2026 Duration: 14 weeks Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg and Telemetry at a leading acute-care hospital in Baltimore, MD. This is a contract position for a Night shift, working 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. We are looking for dedicated professionals to provide exceptional patient care in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Neuro Med-Surg/Telemetry unit. Monitor and manage patient conditions, including those with neurologic diagnoses. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Float to other units as needed based on hospital requirements.

Requirements: 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience is required. Neurology experience is required. ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are required. Basic EKG testing through Prophecy Relias is required and must be provided by the agency. Maryland or compact RN license required upon submission. CVA/acute stroke care and pre/post-neurosurgery experience are required.

Experience with spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury is required. Feeding-tube care, pre/post-hemodialysis care, and renal-failure experience are required. Surgical drain, wound care/wound VAC, oxygen administration, and isolation/PPE experience are required.

Must successfully complete the Basic EKG assessment before attending orientation.

Additional Information: Patient ratio is 1:5. Every other weekend and holiday are required. Travelers can float to Med-Surg and Med-Surg/Telemetry units within scope. Locals are accepted. The system will auto-approve 14 days or less of RTO; no RTO is approved on hard-to-fill days. 3 South is a 36-bed Neuro Med-Surg/Telemetry unit, a Certified Stroke Center, and a Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
