Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse in Wilmington, NC. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic telemetry unit, providing critical care to patients with cardiac conditions.

Job Details: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers Local Candidates: Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Required Skills: Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience; interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring; pre/post cardiac cath, pre/post cardiac surgery, and sheath removal experience; accessing ports; blood product administration; central line/care management; PICC line management; cardiac drip-titration of Diltiazem and Amiodarone; post cardiac cath experience.

Preferred Skills: Charge experience; NIH certification.

Patient Diagnoses: Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post cardiac cath.

Special Procedures / Unit Details: Unit monitors cardiac patients; cardiac drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc.); sheath pulls, TR bands, Femstop.

Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR.

Scheduling Type: Self, per the unit needs.

Unit Orientation: 24 hours.

Scrubs: Not provided. Navy.

Ratios: 1:5-6.

Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend).

Contract staff: May be required to report to work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters; consolidation to the centralized office mid-contract may occur, and contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed. RTO after booking is not allowed and must be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
