Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Departments : Neonatal ICU - NICU Job Title: RN - NICU Specialty : Neonatal Intensive Care NICU Level III, IV Duration : 13 Weeks Location : Shreveport, LA 71101 Shift : Nights, 12 hours Education Required - Associates degree Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Nursing Experience Required - 2 years Certifications Required - Current State of Louisiana RN License. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Current NRP Certification KSAs Good organizational skills Good time management skills and self directed Demonstrates Good Judgement Good interpersonal skills Job Duties Effectively uses the Nursing Process in the delivery of patient care. Assesses learning needs and implement teaching strategies appropriate for the diverse needs of the patient, family and other groups or disciplines. Communicates, delegates and manages nursing team resources (human and fiscal) properly and serves as a leader and partner on the Interdisciplinary Team. Utilizes data, information and knowledge to evaluate and promote change in order to achieve optimal outcomes.
