Location Orangeburg, SC Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule/Shift 3x12-hour shifts, Days, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM. Weekend coverage required every other weekend. Job Description The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit at this acute care hospital focuses on patient care for adults and geriatrics, managing a variety of diagnoses including diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, seizures, and stroke. With a total of 286 staffed beds, the unit utilizes Epic for charting and provides a supportive environment with interdisciplinary services, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Responsibilities Provide patient care in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry setting. Monitor patients' conditions, including telemetry readings. Administer medications and manage IV therapies.

Collaborate with team members and interdisciplinary support services. Attend to the physical and emotional needs of patients. Required Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing role.

Charge experience preferred. Community hospital experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license. BLS and ACLS certifications are required; NIHSS preferred.
