Job Details Specialty: Telemetry Registered Nurse Setting: 28-bed neuro-tele unit Location: Akron, OH 44304 Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: ASAP / 10/18/2026 Shift: 12-hour days Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Patient Ratio: 1:4/5 Work Environment: Fast-paced acute care unit with floating required Job Requirements Active RN license in good standing At least 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience required; 2 years preferred ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required Recent EPIC experience within the last 12 months required Phlebotomy experience required Experience starting and maintaining IVs Strong stroke assessment skills and neuro patient care experience Experience with post-trauma patients preferred Accredited nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE program required Ability to float as needed within the hospital Solid black scrubs required Responsibilities Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to neuro and post-trauma patients Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition Perform stroke scale assessments and support neurological monitoring Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols Start and maintain IV access and assist with phlebotomy as needed Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support safe, effective outcomes Document patient care accurately in EPIC Float to other areas as assigned while maintaining excellent patient care Why Consider This Telemetry RN Travel Job?
