They will communicate effectively with patients and families to alleviate anxiety while maintaining privacy and dignity.

Responsibilities include verifying patient identification, observing patient conditions before and after contrast injections, ensuring availability of medical records, and maintaining adequate supplies in scanning rooms. The technologist will also adhere to room assignments, assist in inventory management, clean equipment, and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements. They will follow venipuncture and power injector protocols and coordinate emergent and unscheduled procedure requests efficiently.
