Job Details: Job Title: Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse Location: Charlottesville, VA Setting: Hospital Pay Range: 2489.28 - 2613.74 Schedule: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00); 36 or 48 hours; every other weekend and every other holiday; block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed Contract Length: 52 weeks Candidate Type: Traveler Requirements: PICU and NICU experience; comfort working with pediatric patients; BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS; 2 years of PICU experience; Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification; adherence to UVA's float policy; Epic experience Responsibilities: Provide nursing care across various pediatric units, including PICU, NICU, pediatric medical-surgical, pediatric PACU, pediatric ED boarders, and postpartum/mother-baby. Float between assigned pediatric units based on operational needs. Support safe, effective patient care within the assigned clinical setting. Collaborate with pediatric care teams across multiple hospital units. Follow applicable hospital float policies and clinical practices.
