Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 9 weeks 37.5 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Job Title: MRI Technologist Location: New York Contract Length: Full-time Job Summary: This position operates and prepares specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures. The MRI Technologist applies technical judgment to obtain diagnostic-quality studies according to written protocols and patient needs.

Responsibilities include patient education, safety adherence, equipment maintenance, and ensuring timely transmission of images to PACS.

Required Qualifications: Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology. New York State License in Diagnostic Radiology. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified). BCLS Certified. Strong background in cross-sectional anatomy, physical sciences, and MRI physics.

Preferred Qualifications: Two years of experience in MRI.
