Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to adult patients with various post-surgical conditions, including but not limited to: Abdominal pain Cholelithiasis Osteoarthritis Fractures Back pain Morbid obesity (bariatric surgery) You will be responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, and providing support during recovery. Familiarity with specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes is essential. Shift and Scheduling This position requires a commitment to night shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM). Please note that block scheduling is not guaranteed, and floating to other units may be necessary based on patient care needs.

Qualifications Up-to-date resume documenting a minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing and travel experience. Active RN license in New York and any other active licenses verified through the NURSYS report. Current AHA BLS certification.

Valid driver's license with an address matching submitted demographics.
