The MRI Technologist applies technical judgment to obtain diagnostic-quality studies according to written protocols and patient needs.

Responsibilities include patient education, safety adherence, equipment maintenance, and ensuring the accuracy and timely transmission of imaging results.

Required Qualifications: Strong background in cross-sectional anatomy, physical sciences, and MRI physics. Excellent technical skills and knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology. New York State License in Diagnostic Radiology. ARRT MRI registry certification. BCLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications: Two years of experience in MRI.
