Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Modesto, California.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/24/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Telemetry Location not specified. The role provides care for adult patients requiring cardiac telemetry monitoring and progressive care support during 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities include managing cardiac infusions, caring for patients before and after cardiac procedures, and supporting telemetry-focused clinical needs.

Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: California registered nurse license; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; at least 2 years of cardiac telemetry or progressive care/step-down experience; experience managing amiodarone, heparin, diltiazem, and dopamine infusions.

Additional Information: Adult patient population. Every other weekend and holidays as needed. No call required.

Experience with pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care.

Experience with pre- and post-coronary artery bypass grafting care.

Experience with pre- and post-transcatheter aortic valve replacement care. Clinical skills include cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, heparin protocols, central-line care, oxygen administration, noninvasive airway management, pacemaker care, intravenous therapy, blood product administration, phlebotomy, wound care, and telemetry monitoring.
