Location Clinton, SC Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule/Shift Shifts available are 3x12 or 4x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend coverage required every other weekend, with potential changes based on need. Job Description The Registered Nurse will care for inpatient adults with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions. Common cardiovascular diagnoses include sepsis, myocardial infarction (MI), unstable angina, and coronary artery disease. The patient population may also include those receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation.

Responsibilities include the administration of vasoactive and antiarrhythmic medications, thrombolytic therapy, defibrillation/cardioversion, thoracentesis, cardiac telemetry monitoring, EKG interpretation, and non-invasive blood pressure monitoring. Float assignments to other units or facilities may be required based on need.
