Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatric Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Pediatric Med/Surg Float – CHOA Specialty: CSO Med/Surg Float Float Areas: CACU, TSU, AFLAC, CIRU Campuses: Must float between 2 main campuses – AMBH & SR Shift: 12-hour nights Weekend: Every other weekend (EOW) required Experience: Minimum 2 years of Pediatric RN experience – REQUIRED Ratio: 4–5 patients : 1 RN Certifications: BLS PALS required License: GA or Compact RN license required Holiday: Must work one holiday rotation based on facility need Important Facility Requirements Flu vaccine is mandatory — no exemptions or declinations accepted Nicotine-free facility — nicotine testing is part of the drug screen Must be comfortable floating across multiple pediatric units and both campuses 2 years Pediatric experience, BLS PALS, GA/Compact license, willingness to float between both campuses, EOW nights, and mandatory flu vaccination.
