Unit Information: Number of Beds: 44 beds Number of Staff: 95 Day Shift Staffing: 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC Night Shift Staffing: 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC Patient Ratios: 4/1 at grid, 5/1 stretched Type of Equipment: IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pump, Chest tube, Trachs, Patient lifts EMR: Cerner Typical Hiring Profile: Must Have: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Preferred: Neuro and Trauma Care experience Typical Procedures Performed: Neuro and spinal checks C-Collar placement, TLSO braces Chest tube, PCA pump, IV infusions Lumber drain Feeding tube placement Blood transfusion Best Personality Fit: Team player, patient-focused Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Floating Areas: Stepdown units, Med-surg units Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Navy blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: Every other weekend required.
