Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Assignment Highlights Location: Atlanta, Georgia Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Acute Neuro Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: November 9, 2026 End Date: February 6, 2027 Shift: 12-hour nights Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, varies Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Candidate Type: Travel nurses only Your Role Provide nursing care to patients in an Acute Neuro unit. Monitor patients' conditions and recognize changes in neurological status. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow established nursing protocols. Support the unit's additional seven overflow beds. ✅ Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical or relevant specialty experience . Current AHA BLS certification . Ability to work night shifts and a varying schedule. Must be willing to work the required holiday schedule. ⭐ Preferred Qualifications ACLS certification . Holiday Requirements Candidates must be available to work: 2 major holidays out of 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. 1 minor holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve. Important Contract Requirements Travel candidates only; local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible. Compliance must be completed by the Wednesday before the Monday start date. A badge photo is required.
