Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Job Overview This position involves supporting a Thoracic Surgery unit with a focus on telemetry oncology, cardiac, and progressive care. The role requires commitment to evening and night shifts, specifically from 1900 to 0730, with every other weekend and some holidays mandated. There are limited requests for time off available during the holiday period from December 22 to January 5. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the Thoracic Surgery unit. Monitor patient telemetry, including oncology and cardiac patients. Administer care in a progressive care unit, step-down, or intermediate care settings. Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. Work Schedule Shifts will be 12-hour nights, from 1900 to 0730. Travelers may work a schedule of four 12-hour shifts if preferred. Must be available to work on December 24 and December 25, as requests for time off during this period will not be approved.

Qualifications WI RN or compact RN license is required. BLS and ACLS certification from AHA are necessary.

Experience in telemetry oncology, cardiac care, and progressive care units is essential.
