Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Shift: Rotating 4x12s & 3x12s 1900-0730 Float will be required to other NICU units or facilities if needed. Weekend coverage - every other unless the need changes Unit System: Pyxis/Omnicell Documentation System - EPIC (must have at least 1 year of EPIC experience) Required NICU II and III experience Patient Diagnoses: Babies 22 weeks gestation and greater -abdominal wall defects -HIE -RDS/RFS - Drug exposure/withdrawl -hypoglycemia - sepsis - TEF -Duodenal Atresia - Diaphragmatic Hernia -Urethral Stenosis - myelomeningocele - ROP Special Procedures: Full Body Cooling Chest Tubes Surgical repair of all anomalies except cardiac Tracheostomy Management Avastin administration and laser eye surgery Special Equipment: Artic Sun Blanketroll Jet Ventilator, HFOV, Draeger Ventilator, HFNC, Bubble CPAP Alaris Philips central B Braun feeding pumps Infinity feeding pumps Atom Dual Incubators, Client Dual Incubators, Dreager Caleos, Radiant warmers External Shunt Ostomy Required certs: BLS, NRP STABLE and SC license No 1st time travelers at this time.
