Job Details Position: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Employment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Pocatello, Idaho Start Date: October 12, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,500 - $1,580 Charting System: Epic Patient Ratio: 1:6 Orientation: 24 hours Weekend Coverage: Required, with flexible scheduling needs Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at the time of submission Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred Prior travel nursing experience preferred BLS certification required Experience with Epic or similar electronic medical records (EMR) systems Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients in a busy acute care setting Comfort working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Strong communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality Med/Surg nursing care to patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process Document thoroughly and accurately in the electronic health record Monitor patient status and respond to changes with sound clinical judgment Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated, patient-centered care Manage a patient load of up to 6 patients while maintaining excellent care standards Provide care for patients with conditions such as sepsis, COPD, post-operative needs, trauma, renal issues, and cardiac concerns Support a positive, professional environment while adapting to the needs of a fast-paced unit Apply now to join this Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg opportunity in Pocatello, Idaho.
