Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading healthcare provider as a PCU Registered Nurse in Knoxville, TN. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Step Down settings. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to those in need.

Key Responsibilities: Float between ICU and PCU/Cardiac Stepdown as needed. Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team. Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements: 2-3 years of experience in ICU and PCU/Cardiac Stepdown. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. NIHSS certification can be obtained after accepting the position. Ability to pass EKG testing before the start date.

Schedule: Night shifts, 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month required.

Additional Information: EMR: Cerner / Medication System: Omnicell. Travelers requesting time off during holidays will not be accommodated.
