Unit Staffing Description: RNs only - no HUC or PCT Type of Equipment: Vent, Telemetry, Baxter IV Pump, IABP, CRRT Documentation System: Cerner Scheduling Requirements: 36 hours/week, alternating weekends, 12-hour shifts Floating Policy: Travelers float to all areas Patient Experience Requirements: ICU experience required Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set: Titration of Vesicant Medications Familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, and Paralytics Experience with Vents, Trachs, and Telemetry Interpretation Understanding of Hemodynamics and PA Catheter Setup and Interpretation Transvenous Pacing, Cardioversion, TEE Familiarity with Chest Tube Insertions and Maintenance Advanced Skills Needed: Desirable skills include IABP, Impella, CRRT Procedures Performed on Unit: Cardioversion Central Line Insertion EGD Bronchoscopy Chest Tube Insertions Pericardiocentesis Thoracentesis Certifications Required: None required - CCRN recommended Dress Code: Required uniform - No pullovers or hoodies, no green scrubs except when uniform is soiled at work, must adhere to uniform colors named above.
