This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated healthcare team in a dynamic environment.

Unit Information: Number of Beds: 40 Staffing: Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 10 bedside nurses, 4 PCTs, 1 Unit Secretary Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 10 bedside nurses, 3 PCTs Patient Ratios: 1:4; stretch staffing at 1:5 ratio Patient Types: Patients with CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, pulmonary hypertension, valvular disease, endocarditis, DKA, post cardiac cath/stent, post pacer/ICD/ablation.

Equipment: Zoll, Baxter pump, lift equipment, bladder scanner EMR: Cerner Typical Hiring Profile: Skill Set: Must Have: Stepdown or progressive care experience Telemetry experience Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications like nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drip, heparin, bumex/Lasix.

Preferred: Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin)

Relief charge experience Typical Procedures: Bedside Cardioversion Best Personality Fit: Flexible, positive attitude, great team player, compassionate.

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Floating Areas: All MedSurg units, Stepdown units, COVID unit, and ER holding.

Dress Code: All white or all navy blue scrubs, or white top with navy blue pants.

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Will be discussed during orientation.
