Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Postpartum Registered Nurse for a contract position in Aurora, CO. This role focuses on providing exceptional care to postpartum patients in a Mother-Baby/Couplet Care setting. Join our team and make a difference in the lives of new families!

Key Responsibilities: Provide care for postpartum patients who do not require ICU-level care. Support high-risk patient populations, including antepartum patients with fetal monitoring experience. Care for newborn patients who do not need NICU-level care, including late preterm and substance-exposed newborns. Administer phototherapy, magnesium drips, insulin drips, and heparin drips as needed. Utilize PCA & PCEA pumps effectively. Offer breastfeeding support to postpartum patients.

Requirements: 1 year of specialty experience required. BLS and NRP certifications. Current RN license (state or compact). Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs is not required. Call required as per unit needs. Weekend requirements as per unit needs.

Floating required: Antepartum trained to float to L&D with fetal monitoring experience.

Additional Information: Typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3 couplets, or up to 6 patients. Unit consists of 32 beds. Charting is done using Epic. Scrub color is navy blue.
