Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 9 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Speech Language Pathologist, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Springfield, MO The Speech Language Pathologist will provide specialized care to patients recovering from neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and other complex conditions in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role supports patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations while promoting improved functional ability, communication, and quality of life through collaborative clinical practice.

Job Details Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience. Inpatient rehabilitation or acute care experience required. Inpatient rehabilitation facility or skilled nursing facility experience required.

Preferred Qualifications: Strong teamwork, communication, work ethic, and sense of responsibility.

Additional Information: Provides care for patients age 13 and older, including adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Common diagnoses include neurological, orthopedic, debility, and cardiac conditions. Patient care involves a 7-to-1 patient ratio. Clinical equipment includes robotic upper-extremity therapy and body-weight support systems. Weekend coverage may be requested; no call requirement is listed. Black scrub attire is required.
