Start Date: 10/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in Dothan, AL, and be part of a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking skilled and compassionate nurses to support our Med Surg unit.

Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical setting. Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Surgical RN.

Current certifications: BLS, NIHSS; ACLS preferred. Proficient in administering cardiac drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone. Must be able to work a 1:6-7 patient ratio. Travelers must adhere to the 90-mile radius rule; no locals accepted. Pending license applications are accepted. Previous permanent staff at the facility are ineligible for travel assignments for 10 years. This position offers a block scheduling option, with shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. The unit primarily focuses on orthopedic patients but may also involve medical/surgical overflow, including telemetry patients requiring cardiac drips.
