Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Long Beach, California.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Telemetry Long Beach, California. This position provides care for adult and geriatric patients in a cardiac telemetry and medical-surgical setting on night shifts. The role requires cardiac telemetry experience, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and the ability to float to medical-surgical units and emergency department holds as needed.

Job Details Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and an onsite EKG test; California license in hand; minimum of 2 years of experience; required cardiac telemetry experience; experience with medical-surgical/telemetry care, telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, pacemakers, cardiac procedures, cardiac drips without titration, vasoactive drips without titration, rapid response and code teams, central lines, ports, chest tubes, wound care, intravenous therapy, blood product administration, heparin protocols, continuous bladder irrigation, renal failure, hemodialysis, oxygen therapy, non-invasive airway management, and electronic health record documentation using Epic.

Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week; weekend coverage every other weekend as needed.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients. Typical patient ratio is 4:1. The position uses Epic for documentation and Omnicell for medication management. Orientation includes required training modules. Navy blue or solid-color scrubs are required.
