Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Spearfish, South Dakota.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel ED/ICU/Med-Surg Float RN — South Dakota | ID 65210965 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years ; first-time travelers need 2 years . Manager interview required.

Mandatory floating: Must be comfortable caring for all ages across ED, ICU, and Med-Surg .

Clinical skills: General ED, critical care for ICU holds, trauma care, complex wound care, dressing changes, and nursing assessments.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS required ; NIHSS and CPI preferred.

Charting: Epic experience required .

License/education: Approved nursing program and RN authorization to practice in South Dakota.

Schedule: 12-hour variable shifts , every other weekend and holiday; no call . 36 guaranteed hours weekly .

Ratios: ED 1:3–4 , ICU 1:1–2 , Med-Surg 1:5 , depending on acuity.

Distance: Must live more than 100 miles away . Former permanent staff need one year’s separation and rehire eligibility.

RTO: Up to 7 days may be approved; contract must extend one week for each week missed.
