Job Title: RESPIRATORY THERAPIST Location: Minnesota Job Summary: A Respiratory Therapist provides assessment, treatment, and monitoring of cardiopulmonary disease across the continuum of care. They function as part of an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and ensure continuity of care in a financially responsible manner. The role requires quick and accurate assessment of patient conditions, effective communication with the care team regarding changes in patient status, diagnostic results, symptomatology, and treatment responses.

Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. National Board for Respiratory Care Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). Current Minnesota Respiratory Therapist (RT) license (must be obtained before the first date of employment). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or equivalent as determined by the site. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications where applicable. Basic computer literacy.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a healthcare-related field. Previous hospital experience. Additional NBRC specialty credentials. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to function with initiative and independent judgment. Desire for continuous quality improvement.

Additional Information: Experience in Emergency Medicine, PCU, Med/Surg, Labor & Delivery, Critical Care, and General Care is preferred. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required upon hire or within one year of employment and must be maintained throughout employment.
