Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Burlington, Vermont.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 20 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Emergency Room. The position provides emergency nursing care in a fast-paced setting while supporting safe, effective patient care. The role requires schedule flexibility, recent EPIC experience, and the ability to work rotating day and night shifts.

Job Details Required Qualifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) must be included before the assignment begins or accompanied by proof of enrollment; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is required before the assignment begins. A minimum of 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, large teaching facility experience, and EPIC experience within the past 2 years are required.

Preferred Qualifications: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), MOAB, ProAct, or other de-escalation training.

Schedule: Rotating day and night shifts; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week. Schedule flexibility is required, including at least every other weekend. Block schedules are not available.

Assignment Details: The assignment is scheduled for 20 to 26 weeks. Orientation is conducted every other Monday.
