Key Responsibilities: Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided accurately. Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers on health management. Demonstrate leadership competencies as outlined in the OneCHRISTUS Competencies.

Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience: 1 year in the related nursing specialty preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: BLS certification via AHA required. ACLS certification via AHA required. RN License in state of employment or compact.

Position Requirements: Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. Preceptorship with a designated trained staff member for onboarding. Participation in residency programs or specific orientation for newly licensed RNs. Completion of all annual competency verification requirements.

Work Schedule: 7AM-7PM, Full Time.

Weekend requirement: Every other weekend. No call required.

Nurse/patient ratio: 5:1-6:1 depending on staffing.

EMR used: Epic.
